Our Story

This all started by accident.

I was waiting for my wife, Candy, to finish work. I had time. I made a cocktail video. And at the very end—without planning it, without thinking much about it—I closed with:

“Shut up and love your neighbor… cheers.”

That was it.

People asked if it was a slogan I’d been working on.
If it was something I’d always said.
If there was a strategy behind it.

The honest answer: no.

But I felt it.

It’s been in my DNA for a long time. For five years, I even had the hashtag #shutupandlovesomebody sitting quietly on my Facebook profile. No one noticed. Turns out timing—and specificity—matter.

At my core, I genuinely love people. I find them fascinating. Every person shaped by their experiences. Navigating their own journey. Learning from their own mistakes. Carrying stories you can’t see at first glance.

There are no perfect people.
No perfect journeys.
No perfect lives.

And that’s kind of the point.

Shut Up & Love Your Neighbor isn’t about being silent. It’s about knowing when noise helps—and when it doesn’t. It’s about choosing curiosity over judgment, presence over performance, and compassion over being right.

The products we make aren’t the mission. They’re reminders. Signals. Sometimes gentle nudges. Sometimes uncomfortable ones. All pointing back to the same simple idea:

The world doesn’t need more opinions.
It needs more neighbors.

So if this message resonates, you’re already part of it.

Talk less.
Care more.
Love your neighbor.
